So finally I have all my images together for m y project.
After going to london and photographing a range of things there I found that i didn't want to base my project just on the architecture in London but I want to sort of document the city and capture the everyday life of the city it's self.
When walking round the city I felt like it wasn't reAlly lived in, all the people there were just commuters for work or tourists visiting the capital, everyone just passing through there was not feeling of homeliness, everything tall, grey, concrete and moving.
It's not until you reach places like st. James's park or Coventry garden until you start to feel like the city is a place where people live too, or at least that's how I feel?
I think if you were to visit the city at certainties of day eg at night or early hours of the morning is when you see a different side to the city, unfortunately I wasn't able to photograph during those times but would have loved too.
With in my project I've tried to capture London as it would be everyday and I hope by looking through them the reader can get a sense of what being in the city is like during the working hours of the day.
The project is shot on digital to give it that modern quick paced feel to incorporate with the fast flow of the city, also it has colour images missed with black and White to give the feeling of old tired with new and fresh like the building with in the city.
